Preheat 350 degrees

1 c butter
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 T milk
2 T vanilla
4 c flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
- Stir in flour, powder, and salt.
- Roll thin 1/4" to 1/8" and cut out shapes.
- Bake 12-15 minutes.
Chill in bowl at least 1 hour or overnight. May freeze dough at this point.
Good to freeze at this point too. Remove at this point and decorate.
